The pistons in these Piston Kits are made from a high-quality gravity-cast aluminum alloy that's designed to increase wear resistance and decrease thermal distortion to extend piston life.
Features
- Gravity cast aluminum alloy with 18% silicon to increase resistance to wear and decrease thermal distortion, thus providing a longer piston life
- Coated skirts ease break-in, decreasing wear and aiding in lubrication
- Wear-resistant piston rings
- Wrist pins are nitride-coated, providing a hardened, wear-resistant bearing surface
- Piston rings are compatible with OEM pistons
- Piston kits include piston, rings, wrist pin and circlips
- Moose Replacement rings are sold individually
